VINYL OF THE MONTH

  Love and Fantasy
01.12.05

OK - German artist, german release - v. rare too. Another purchase of Mr Thing's whilst shopping on tour in Europe in 2004. We like the headphones too.

  Tijuana 70
01.11.05

This record was in the very first batch of covers to be archived. It's got that 'Zorro' feel about it. Smoking may not be big, or clever but, as seen here, it is sexy.

  Top of the Pops '71
01.10.05

One of the strangest covers yet. This model appears on more covers than any other (see 'Miss Vinyl' tag) but this one? Ahh the wholesome way pop music was sold to 'the kids' back in 1971.

  More Persuasive Percussion 01.09.05

A quality cover from the quality 'Command' label. Chicks on vinyl is currently being re-developed with plus more scope for users to comment on images etc. Watch this space.

  Hot Hits 17 01.08.05

Just one of the 'sporting' themes Hot Hit series. OK - M. Monroe looky-likey shoots pool in lo cut dress - all farely standard fare but the spiv in the background? How, why.
Click on sleeve image for more Hot Hits covers.
